 It's YOUR Future... Make it a Good One! This is a book of methods and tools that futurists have developed and used
successfully over many decades. These methods and tools have now been scaled down to fit your life and
the lives of your family members. This is not a book of advice, this is a book of action. With the tools and methods you will
learn to use, you will learn how to anticipate the future, and how to change the course of your life. I've been working on this book for over ten years!
When I completed my classes in Studies of the Future at the University of Houston-Clear Lake I knew I wanted to write a book
that would show individuals how they could use futures methods to conduct personal futures planning. The problem at that time
was that the methods were designed for large organizations. They were too cumbersome and complex for most individuals. So, I signed
up to study under futurist Graham May at Leeds Metropolitan University and to do research on how to apply futures methods
to personal lives. When finished, my thesis (my first book on futures studies) was titled "Personal Futures: Foresight
and Futures Studies for Individuals." I spent about a year and a half writing and preparing It's YOUR Future...
Make it a Good One! for publication. Futurists, friends, and academics around the world have previewed, commented
and made suggestions during the process. Now the book is complete. I'm publishing it in paperback to keep the costs down ($17.50)
and have released the book in electonic (e-book) versions at even lower prices ($8.99). Ebooks are available at Amazon.com
